What Ted Said - The Ramblings of an Inquisitive Toddler

Inspired by my Mother in Law's posts about the funny things Joe's little brother says - What Fred Said - I have decided to share with you some of our little man's Tedism's.

I literally cry with laughter sometimes at some of the hilarious things Ted comes out with now he has started talking, life has become one big stage for him where he can show off and make people giggle with his new trick. I love hearing his little voice and the way he sees the world is just brilliant.

Ladies and Gentlemen...I give you...What Ted Said!

After watching The Gruffalo 6 times a day since Christmas Ted has discovered his favourite phrase from the programme.

"Roasted fox! I'm off!" Fox said.

"Goodbye, little mouse," and away he sped.

Problem is with him only being able to say a few words and his inability to pronounce his B's properly...this resulted in him shouting, in his deepest growl...

"DIE...MOUSE!!!"

Struggling to get Ted to wear a scarf for weeks now, I was pleasantly surprised when he let me put his navy woollen scarf on him, to which he announced it was his "Man Scarf". He has worn it every day since!

Snuggled up on the sofa the other morning Ted turned to me, eyes scrunched up tight and said "Got No Eyes!". I literally had tears streaming down my face as he continued to tell me he had no eyes and mouse (on the Gruffalo) had no eyes either!

I am so amazed by how quickly Ted has picked up words and he is beginning to form really clear sentences. He makes my Mum and sister well up when he said "Pleeeeeease" and holds his hands together like a beggar when he wants a treat and continues to crack Joe up every time he asks for a "Bread-dick!". I can't wait to find out what he is going to say next!
