Fathers Day - Gift Guide for the Perfect Cuppa!

This Fathers Day let your Dad put his feet up
and enjoy a nice cuppa!

I have been trying out the best products from the world of cuppa's just for the Dad's out there...I know what a tough job ey?!

Whether a relaxing cup of Tea is their bag or they can't function without the old Rocket Fuel these gifts are sure to put a smile on your Dad's face!

I am a tea lover at heart, I drink coffee when it is the overpriced deliciously sweet mega milky sort in a paper cup with a well known brand on the side but it's not something I drink at home. Joe (the fiance not the slang term for coffee) however has a coffee every morning and I want to try and save some money and replicate that coffee shop taste at home.

This French Press from OXO is a must have for Java Heads.

With it's innovative design and a ladle that catches the grounds and a removable glass carafe making removal and cleaning so much easier it really is a kitchen essential. It has markings on the side to measure the correct amount of water for your desired strength and the non-slip handle and added grip make the whole coffee making experience more comfortable.

At £35.00 I think this is a reasonably priced gift for your loved ones and something that is sure to be used every day!

Tea for Two ?

The China Life Glass Tea Brewer and Decanter I suppose is similar to the french press but for tea! It makes brewing loose leaf tea so simple and I love its push release button for quickly decanting the tea ready to serve. £16.63 RRP

China Life also have an extensive range of Chinese tea's which are so traditional and as boring as my Jasmine tea above looks they offer a range of blossoming tea's which are just stunning and a real show off way of serving tea for a party!

With gift sets starting at £7 why not encourage your Dad to embrace the beauty of Chinese tea...perhaps after a delicious Chinese meal!

The next one is exciting for me as I adore the brand name and packaging....the super quirky TeaPigs

Winners of the Great Taste Awards 2013, Teapigs are one of the best online tea stores and have such an adorable website where you can select which tea you would like depending on your mood or how you take your tea (with milk? caffeine free?).

Having tasted just a few of their extensive range of flavours I am desperate to try more!

I enjoyed Peppermint which is refreshing and settles tummy pains, Lemon and Ginger which is zesty but has a kick of ginger but I must admit some of the other flavours like Yerba Mate and Earl Grey really aren't my cup of tea *sniggers* but I have spoken to friends who suggested they are perhaps more 'manly' flavours so may appeal to the Dad's out there!

Starting at just £1.30 for a 2 bag sample pack (the little one in the above picture) they are more on the pricey side of teabags but why not buy a few samples and throw together a little tea hamper with a range of flavours for a special gift!

Finally I want to recommend some tea's I have tried recently and really enjoyed. I discovered this brand while at The Good Food Show a couple of years back and fell in love.

Bluebird Tea Company have some really delicious flavours like Rhubarb and Custard, Strawberry Lemonade and my favourite MojiTea which as I am sure you can tell is Mojito flavoured with lime and mint!

Their gorgeous iced tea pitcher (left) is so cool and perfect for summer months, I cannot wait to get my hands on one and what a fab gift idea too! £29.95 RRP

*I was sent some samples for review purposes but all opinions are my own.
