Tesco Meat Free Frozen Range - Review

Ted and I have been chowing down veggie style lately, swapping meaty meals for vegetarian options at least once a week. The Meat Free range from Tesco has always appealed to me with it being a lot cheaper than top brand veggie foods like Linda McCartney and Quorn. I was asked if I wanted to try out the new Meat Free frozen range and was quite excited.

We made our way to the freezer aisle in our local Tesco supermarket and there was such a great selection to choose from. With a 2 for £3 offer on the range we were able to take advantage of the offer and stock up.

I chose some delicious lazy dinner essentials like Cauliflower Cheese Grills, Glamorgan Sausages and Red Pepper and Pesto Bakes. Ted got some lovely Cheese and Tomato bites from the kids range too!

Most excitingly though are the straight to pan meals like the Spinach, Lentil and Potato Curry, Vegetable Barley Risotto and Bulgar Wheat and Edemame. They come in a bag ready to pour straight into a pan and stir fry in just 10 minutes. They are perfect for quick and easy dinners and Ted loves the curry and risotto.

Vegetable and Barley Risotto
Meat has become so expensive in the last couple of years and I think these super vegetarian meal idea's make it much easier to eat less meat and even the fussiest eaters are sure to find something they like in the range.

*I was sent a voucher to try the Tesco Meat Free range but all opinions are my own
