We have been sent this very cool looking frying pan to review from Ozeri and although a new pan doesn't sound too exciting I have really enjoyed giving it a test run!
I am a bit of a noob when it comes to purchasing kitchen equipment, despite living away from my parents for 5 years now I still suck at the 'grown up' things like housework, bills and anything that involves any form of organisation. Therefore shopping for pots and pans usually consists of grabbing the cheapest one I can find while on a food shop in the supermarket and replacing them regularly when I ruin them by burning pasta....I got distracted!!!
This German made Ozeri Green Earth frying pan has a non-toxic ceramic Greblon coating with a magnetised bottom that disperses heat evenly and allows it come to cooking temperature quickly. It's also bright green!!
We have an 8 inch pan but it does come in 10" and 12". I have cooked egg's and pancakes in it and am happy to say neither stuck. I do still use a little spritz of oil just to prevent the surface getting damaged but I would do that with all of my pans anyway.
I enjoy having a little pan I can use for sweet things as using our big pan for pancakes results in curried crepes that really don't taste very nice! A little more pricey than most pans on the market but probably on par with well known brands like Tefal. I just wish I could afford to buy the full set!
This has spurred me on to buy a new set of pots and pans for the home...I feel like a proper grown up now!
