Pop Bakery from Harvey Nichols

On the first day of Christmas Harvey Nichols sent to me...a cake Pop Bakery!

Ryland Peters and Small Pop Bakery Kit

This fab set  is perfect for those baking fanatics. I have wanted to make cake pops for a long time after perusing Pinterest looking at some wonderful designs. I never understood how people made shaped ones until now.

The Pop Bakery comes with a recipe book written by Clare O'Connell, 2 shaped moulds, sticks, cellophane bags and beautiful lilac ribbons. Everything you need to make some scrummy cakes on sticks!

You can even visit the Pop Bakery blog here for some more designs and tips.

The process of making cake pops is really quite simple. The cake balls are made by combining cake crumbs and icing. These are then molded into balls before being dipped in a sweet coating and decorating.

I have a few idea's for my cake pops and hope to make some for Teds birthday next week. I of course am a bit strapped for time so will be using shop brought cake but decorating them myself.

Peppa Pig

I am thinking along the lines of the ducks from Peppa Pig and some star shaped cake wands from Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom like these ones from Cake Pop Princess.

I will be sure to share our finished creations with you so keep an eye out.

Harvey Nichols offer a huge range of festive gifts and all come perfectly wrapped in the most wonderful packaging ready to put under the tree to give to your loved ones on Christmas morning!

*I was sent my Pop Bakery for the purposes of an honest review but all opinions are my own.
